A major accident was averted on Thursday night on the Sarsawa railway track in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, when three-four pendrol clips were removed from the track and left on the track itself. Railway employees noticed these clips during routine checking and immediately informed the higher authorities, after which the movement of trains on the track was immediately stopped.
There was chaos from Ambala to Delhi, vehicles were stopped in time
After finding the pendrol clips, there was a stir in the railway administration from Ambala to Delhi. Other trains including goods trains had to be stopped and security checks were immediately started in the concerned area. Officials reached the spot to take stock of the situation and all trains were stopped at safe places.

This is not the first time that such an incident has come to light on the railway track of Saharanpur. A few days ago also a similar mischief was done in the same area. Last month also a goods train was derailed on platform number three of Saharanpur railway station. DRM Ambala division Mandeep Singh said that after the incident the team immediately reached the spot and rectified the situation.
