Karhal Assembly: Electoral battlefield
Out of these 9 assembly seats, Karhal seat is considered to be the most important. SP has fielded Tej Pratap Yadav in the by-election to be held on Karhal assembly seat. SP held large scale public meetings here between 13 and 15 November. Samajwadi Party's national president Akhilesh Yadav and Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav addressed these meetings.
Dimple Yadav's slip of tongue becomes an issue
Dimple Yadav made a mistake while attacking BJP in her speech. She took the name of SP instead of BJP. Her statement was, "Earlier it seemed that it was impossible to defeat BJP, but now SP can be defeated." The opposition strongly targeted her for this mistake and called it a symbol of SP's internal weaknesses. Actually Dimple Yadav was talking about defeating BJP but due to a slip of tongue she said SP instead of BJP.
