AAP will contest Delhi elections alone, refused to form alliance with Congress
Arvind Kejriwal made it clear that the Aam Aadmi Party will contest the Delhi Assembly elections alone. He has ruled out the possibility of any alliance with the Congress. The party has released its second list of candidates and has fielded many new faces.

AAP announces to fight alone in Delhi elections
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Coordinator Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced that his party will contest the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections alone. He ruled out any possibility of an alliance with the Congress.
Arvind Kejriwal's statement on alliance with Congress
Arvind Kejriwal wrote on X (formerly Twitter),
"Aam Aadmi Party will contest on its own in Delhi. No chance of alliance with Congress."
This statement came at a time when reports claimed that discussions were going on about seat sharing in the opposition alliance 'INDIA'.
Second list of AAP candidates released
The Aam Aadmi Party has released its second list of candidates for the Delhi elections. This list includes 20 names.

Delhi State Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav recently attacked AAP and Arvind Kejriwal, saying that Aam Aadmi Party is responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi. He demanded the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Last election results in Delhi
In the last Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party won 62 out of 70 seats, while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) captured 8 seats. The performance of Congress was extremely poor and the party could not win a single seat.
Crime and Law and Order in Delhi
Devendra Yadav expressed concern over rising crime in Delhi such as murders, gang wars, rapes and molestations.
