Farmers protest in Noida: They broke the barricades and moved ahead, returned after talks with the administration
Punjab farmers demonstrated by breaking barricades in Noida to march towards Delhi. This demonstration, which started with the demand of discussion on MSP and Land Acquisition Act, was followed by talks with the police. After the talks, the farmers left the protest site, and traffic became normal.

Farmers from Punjab broke the police barricades near Dalit Prerna Sthal in Noida to march to Delhi on Monday. He demanded that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and Land Acquisition Act be discussed.
The farmers returned after the talks
After negotiations between the farmers and the police officers, the protesting farmers left the demonstration site. After this, the police removed the barricades and traffic returned to normal.
The chief of the farmers demanded
Pawan Khatana, the leader of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), put forward the demands of the farmers in an interview with the media.

Noida's Joint CP Law and Order Shivhari Meena said that the farmers have told their demands to the authorities and they have been assured. After negotiations, the situation returned to normal and traffic resumed.
Farmers' displeasure
BKU leader Pawan Khatana said, “The Land Acquisition Act was passed in 2013, but the farmers have not received four times compensation till date. The circle rate has also not increased. Farmers are being displaced because of the airport, and a change in displacement policy is necessary. Until our demands are met, we will continue our movement.”
Traffic alert due to display
In view of the farmers' march, the police put up barricades and issued a traffic advisory for passengers traveling from Noida to Delhi.
