Beginning of incident: Argument escalated over wake up for school
The attitude towards school of the son of Ram Milan, a scientist of Bhava Research Institute living in Piperaich area of Gorakhpur, had turned bad. Troubled by her son's actions, mother Aarti went to school on December 1 and complained to the principal. After being scolded by the principal, the son was angry.
Murder incident: Big step taken in anger
On the morning of December 3, when the mother woke the son up for school, he refused to go. There was a quarrel between mother and son. In a fight, the son pushed the mother in anger. His head hit the wall causing serious injury and he bled to death.
The secret was hidden for five days
The son took the mother's body to the store room and kept it there for 5 days. No one would suspect, so he disconnected the CCTV and started burning incense in the house.
Father's return and disclosure of events
On December 8, the father returned from Chennai, opened the door of the house and smelled the smell. He went inside and saw his wife's body lying there. The police were called.
Revealed by CCTV and post-mortem
- CCTV: DVR did not show any outsider entering the house, only beta recording.
- Postmortem: The body was 6 days old, which did not match the son's story.
The minor son confessed to the crime
After two hours of questioning, the police revealed the truth from the son. He said that he pushed the mother in anger, due to which she died.
