Moderate violence: BJP and opposition at the center of politics

The political atmosphere has heated up over the violence in Sambhal over the Jama Masjid survey. Other opposition parties, including the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, are putting the BJP and Yogi government in the crosshairs. The opposition alleges that the failure of the administration has given rise to this situation. However, senior BJP leaders and ministers are hitting back at the opposition on the issue.

SP Baghel: 'Not calm, opposition should go to Bangladesh'

BJP MP from Agra and Cabinet Minister SP Singh Baghel targeted the opposition parties and said that the leaders of the Congress and the opposition should focus on the atrocities being committed on Hindus in Bangladesh instead of getting complacent. He said, "The incident of Sambhal is shown in opposition channels, but there is no talk about the attack on Hindus in Bangladesh. This is the result of the politics of appeasement."
He expressed confidence in the administration and said that the government and the police are capable of maintaining peace in Sambhal.

OP Rajbhar: 'Don't expect riot police to garland you'

Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief and minister in the Yogi government OP Rajbhar said, "Anyone who causes trouble, action will be taken against them. The police will not hug troublemakers, nor will they ask for Aadhaar cards." He accused Congress and SP of spreading hatred against BJP among Muslims.

Rajbhar described the violence as political and said why this violence happened only in Sambhal? He raised the question that this violence was provoked by Muslims voting for the BJP candidate in Kundaraki.

Sharp accusations against the opposition: the politics of political gain

It is clear from the statements of both the leaders that the BJP is considering it as a conspiracy of the opposition. The statements of Baghel and Rajbhar have given more weight to this issue.
It will be interesting to see what turn this controversy takes in the coming days.
