Opposition attacks on Adani, Sambhal and Manipur: Parliament proceedings adjourned till December 2
In the first four days of the winter session of Parliament, the proceedings lasted for only 40 minutes. The opposition surrounded the government on issues like Adani dispute, Sambhal incident, Manipur and foreign policy. Due to uproar and sloganeering, the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till Monday, December 2. The opposition accused the government of running away from the discussion, while the Chairman and Speaker appealed to run the House.

Rahul Gandhi's statement
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said outside the Parliament that Adani is accused of paying a bribe of 2000 crore rupees in America. he said,
"Adani should be in jail, but the Modi government is saving him."
Demand for discussion on Sambhal incident
The opposition surrounded the government and demanded a discussion in the House regarding the Sambhal incident. Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav said,
"The government is running away from the discussion on these issues. When the government does not want to, how will the parliament function?"
Speaker and Chairman appealed
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said amid the uproar,
"Agreement-disagreement is the strength of democracy. The country wants the parliament to run."
At the same time, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Rajya Sabha said on the sloganeering of the opposition MPs,
"We're moving away from people-centered work. It's a very bad example."

Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said,
"The government is neither fixing the issues for discussion, nor giving any dates. Parliament is not functioning because of their arrogance."
