Telangana shaken by earthquake: 5.3 magnitude tremor in Mulugu, Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh also affected
An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude was felt in Telangana's Mulugu district on Wednesday morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was 40 kilometers deep below the ground. Tremors were also felt in some areas of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh. At present, no casualties or major damage has been reported.
INDC Network : Telangana : On Wednesday, 4 December 2024, strong tremors of earthquake were felt in Mulugu district of Telangana. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was 5.3 and its epicenter was 40 kilometers below the ground. The impact of the earthquake was felt at 7:27 am, which shook the surrounding areas including Hyderabad.
