Woman who threatened to kill Yogi Adityanath released, police alert, Salman Khan also received threat

INDC Network: Mumbai police and Maharashtra ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad) jointly detained a 24-year-old woman, Fatima Khan, from Ulhasnagar in Thane district after a threatening message was received for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. According to the police, the threat was asking Yogi Adityanath to resign within 10 days or else he would be murdered like Baba Siddiqui.


Police readiness: Threat caused panic

On Saturday, the police department went into a tizzy after receiving this threatening message on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police. Acting immediately, the police tried to trace the sender of the message. Investigation revealed that the message was sent by a woman named Fatima Khan, who is an IT graduate and lives with her family in Ulhasnagar of Thane district.


Interrogation and release: Statement of Fatima Khan

Fatima Khan was detained by Mumbai Police for questioning. The police brought her to Mumbai and questioned her for hours and later released her. An officer informed that Fatima is mentally unstable, due to which the police did not take any strict action against her. The police said that Fatima has a mental health problem and she is well educated, but the reason for her act was said to be her mental health problem.


Growing unrest in society: Yogi's visit and police alert

Despite the threat, the police said that Yogi Adityanath is expected to come to Maharashtra on November 20 to campaign for the assembly elections. Due to this, the police have made special security arrangements and the Maharashtra ATS is also on alert. The police said that in such cases, no stone will be left unturned regarding security to avoid any untoward incident.


Salman Khan also received threats: Other cases revealed

Apart from the threat to Yogi Adityanath, Salman Khan also received threatening messages recently. On October 29, threats were made to shoot Salman Khan and his close friend Zeeshan Siddiqui on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police. The person who threatened had demanded two crore rupees. In this case, the police arrested Bandra resident Mohammad Mustafa. Earlier also on October 17, a threat was made to Salman Khan demanding five crore rupees, in which it was said that if the money is not received, Salman will be given the same punishment as Baba Siddiqui. In this case, Jamshedpur resident Sheikh Hussain Sheikh of Jharkhand was arrested.


Police statement on the mental condition of the woman

Fatima Khan's father is in the timber business and according to the police, she belongs to a good family. Police said that Fatima Khan is mentally unstable, so she was released after questioning. However, the Uttar Pradesh ATS team is also questioning her. Police said that the ATS is also investigating her contacts to find out if this is part of some big conspiracy.


Investigation of other cases: police surveillance and subsequent security

The police have taken the threats received by Salman Khan and Yogi Adityanath seriously and have made special arrangements for their security.
