Farrukhabad: CMO's raid causes panic among hospital operators, OT and centre sealed
CMO Dr. Avindra Kumar inspected hospitals and ultrasound centers in Maseni and Awas Vikas areas of Farrukhabad on the basis of complaints. During this, OTs of two hospitals were sealed, while a shutter was installed in an ultrasound center due to non-availability of doctors and records. The action has created a stir in the health sector.

CMO's big move
CMO Doctor Avindra Kumar inspected three hospitals and an ultrasound center on the irregularities of health services in Maseni area of Farrukhabad. During this time, the Operation Theater (OT) of New Siddharth Hospital and Kulwanti Hospital were sealed after they were found substandard.
Disclosure of bogus complaints
The complaints received against Gitanjali Hospital were found to be false on investigation, and the arrangements of the hospital were found to be correct. The CMO did not take any action on this.
Action on ultrasound center
During the inspection at the New Vedanta Ultrasound Center, when the doctor and records were not found, the CMO closed the shutters of the center and expelled the two female employees. The doctor of the center has been paid in the CMO office along with the documents.
