Farrukhabad: Four vicious thieves arrested with 21 stolen bikes
Farrukhabad police has arrested four vicious bike thieves. 21 stolen motorcycles were recovered from these thieves. After stealing the bikes, the accused used to put fake number plates and erase the engine and chassis numbers and then sell them. SOG and Kaimganj Kotwali police played an important role in this major operation.

Arrest of bike thieves: Who are these criminals? Among the arrested accused are Himanshu (resident of Farrukhabad) and Ankit (resident of Rampur Etah). Two minor criminals have also been arrested along with them. According to police records, the two minors have 7 felonies each in Kannauj, Etah and Farrukhabad.
Method of crime: How did the theft occur? In the police interrogation, the accused said that they used to put fake number plates after stealing the bike. After this, they used to sell these bikes by erasing the engine and chassis numbers.
Police action: Joint operation of SOG and Kotwali Police This operation was conducted under the leadership of SOG in-charge Sachin Chaudhary and Qayamganj Kotwal Ram Autar. A 315 bore pistol, a magazine and live cartridges were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
Police Superintendent's Statement: Theft will now be curbed Police Superintendent Alok Priyadarshi told a press conference that the arrest of the accused will curb bike theft in the area.
