Status of Khan Sir
During the demonstration, Khan Sir became unwell and was admitted to Prabhat Memorial Hospital in Patna.
Bihar's famous teacher and YouTuber Khan Sir has been admitted to Prabhat Memorial Hospital in Patna after his health suddenly deteriorated. He is being given medical aid after complaining of dehydration and fever. A day earlier, he had joined in support of students protesting against changes in the rules of the 70th BPSC preliminary examination.
On December 6, hundreds of candidates were protesting outside the BPSC office in Patna for changes in the examination process. During the demonstration, the police resorted to light lathicharge, which further escalated the tension. In the evening news came that the police had detained Khan Sir. However, the police refuted these rumours, saying that Khan sir had come to the police station on his own and the police had left him in his vehicle.
On the morning of December 7, an FIR was registered over a fake post from Khan Sir's Twitter handle Khan Global Studies . On this, the SDPO of the Secretariat Dr. Annu Kumar clarified that he has not been arrested. The police described it as misleading and confusing to students.
The atmosphere in support of students and Khan sir is still hot, while BPSC has denied any change in the examination process.
