Baba Siddiqui murder: These shocking facts about the attackers of NCP leader

Many new revelations have come to light related to the murder of NCP leader and former minister Baba Siddiqui. The murder was planned in Patiala jail with the help of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar is said to be the main conspirator of the murder, while the shooters responsible for the murder, Gurmel Baljit Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap, have been arrested. Another accused Praveen Lonkar has been arrested from Pune in this incident, while the police are still searching for other suspects.

INDC Network: Maharashtra: Mumbai Police has achieved a major success in solving the murder mystery of former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. Police have so far identified six suspects in this high-profile murder case, out of which three have been arrested. Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar has been named as the main conspirator, who was the mastermind of this conspiracy. It is believed that the murder was planned in Patiala jail, in which Lawrence Bishnoi gang played an important role.

Identification and arrests of shooters: The two people arrested by Mumbai Police are Gurmel Baljit Singh (23) from Haryana and Dharamraj Rajesh Kashyap (19) from Uttar Pradesh. Both the accused have claimed to be associated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This gang had earlier also threatened Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Apart from these, the third accused Praveen Lonkar (29) has been arrested from Pune.

After the arrest, it was revealed that Praveen's brother Shubham had taken responsibility for the murder through a post on social media, in which he named Lawrence Bishnoi. However, he later deleted that post. According to the police, Shubham is one of the conspirators of the murder, who involved Dharmaraj Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam in the murder plan.

Details of the attack: The attackers got down from a vehicle on Saturday and opened fire on NCP leader Baba Siddiqui taking advantage of the noise of firecrackers. He was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The attack happened so quickly that the attackers got ample time to escape from the spot. However, due to the swift action of the police, three suspects have been arrested so far, and the search for other absconding accused is on.

Criminal history of the accused: Gurmel Baljit Singh has a criminal history. In 2019, he was arrested in a murder case, but was later released on bail. His family has claimed that they abandoned him 11 years ago. Gurmel's grandmother told reporters that "his parents are dead, and he is nothing to us now." Gurmel was released on bail three months ago, but did not return home.

Dharamraj Kashyap hails from Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district. His mother has expressed surprise at the allegations against her son. According to her, Dharamraj left home two months ago to work in a scrapyard in Pune. Superintendent of Police (SP) Vrinda Shukla has confirmed that Dharamraj and Shivkumar Gautam alias Shiva, who are suspects in the murder case, are both residents of Bahraich and are childhood friends. It was Shivkumar who got Dharamraj a job in Pune, after which his family had no idea about his whereabouts.

Role of Lawrence Bishnoi gang: The police have confirmed the involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in this murder. This is the same gang that had earlier threatened Salman Khan. The main conspirator Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar had planned this murder while in Patiala jail. According to the police, the shooters were given instructions by the Bishnoi gang.

Mumbai Police has arrested three accused so far, and the search for others is on. The absconding accused are also expected to be nabbed soon.
