A case of allegedly using abusive language and misbehaving with women during voting has come to light in Ibrahimpur. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has strongly condemned the incident and demanded the suspension of the SHO.

SHO in Meerapur accused of threatening voters
SHO Rajiv Sharma of Kakaroli police station area of Meerapur is accused of stopping voters from voting by showing a revolver. Akhilesh Yadav requested the Election Commission to take immediate action.
Election Commission's strictness: 9 police officers suspended
The Election Commission has suspended 9 police officers from Kanpur, Moradabad and Muzaffarnagar after receiving complaints of irregularities from various districts. These include 2 officers from Sisamau, 5 from Moradabad and 2 from Muzaffarnagar.
