18th century weapons discovered in Shahjahanpur

While plowing the field of farmer Babu Ram in Dhakia Tiwari village of Nigohi police station area of ​​Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, an unbelievable mystery came to light which shocked everyone. As soon as the farmer's plow hit a solid object inside the ground, digging was started there. As this digging progressed, a treasure of weapons hidden inside the soil came to light. The discovery of objects like swords, daggers, guns and spears caused a sensation among the local people and people started gathering in large numbers to see it.


Historians' estimate: 200 year old treasure

According to local historian Vikas Khurana, some of the weapons found have heads made of silver, which have rusted. These weapons also include barrels and tubes of old guns whose wood has been damaged by termites. Vikas Khurana said that the use of guns in India started during the time of Babur, and these weapons found appear to be from around the 18th century. He has requested the District Magistrate for a detailed study of this historical discovery so that the history behind it can be understood.

Village resident Omvir Singh said that this land was earlier a part of a garden which was later bought by Babu Ram. After this, the soil of the field was taken out and ploughed for the first time.
